Draško Stanivuković was born on May 21, 1993, in Banja Luka. He completed elementary school “Aleksa Šantić,” followed by the Banja Luka Gymnasium.
He began his political career at the age of 18. In 2014, he was the youngest candidate in the General Elections for Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, although he did not win a mandate. Two years later, he ran for the Banja Luka City Assembly and, with 2,000 votes, became the youngest councilor in the history of the local Parliament.
In the 2018 General Elections, he ran for Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and, with 20,186 votes, assumed the position of MP. He received the highest number of individual votes of all candidates for the National Assembly in the Republic of Srpska. In 2018, he was elected President of the Banja Luka City Board and became a member of the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP).
In the 2020 local elections, he was elected Mayor.
