Biography
Ambre Maucorps is Economist at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies in Austria. Her research focuses on regional policy, economic convergence and territorial cohesion, including in the context of EU enlargement. Over the past ten years, she led many evaluations, impact assessments and research studies on the role of EU funding in bridging development gaps at different governance levels and across borders. Ambre Maucorps holds a Degree of Engineering (with a major in Economics) from the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, France, as well as a M.A. degree in European Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium
