Biography

Born in 1978, Radoš Pejović completed his primary and secondary education in Zrenjanin.

He earned a degree in Serbian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad.

He is the author of the novel Prayer in a Vein, which tells the true story of the first drug addict to recover from addiction in the Orthodox Christian community Land of the Living, affiliated with Kovilj Monastery, as well as the poetry collection Sad Joy.

He has authored numerous articles on the family-centered model of society and demographic issues. He was one of the organizers of the first roundtable discussion on demography held at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

He is the creator and host of Serbia’s first pro-life television program, Serbia – A Family-Friendly Country.

He participated in the World Congress of Families in Budapest, Hungary (2017), Chișinău, Moldova (2018), and Verona, Italy (2019). He also participated in the Sixth National Congress on Children and Birth Rates in Serbia.

He has been actively involved in building networks among family organizations and, in December 2018, was elected President of the Association of Family Organizations in Serbia.

From January 2021, he served as Assistant Provincial Secretary for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality, where he headed the Sector for Family Care and Demography.

Since June 2023, he has served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Family Welfare and Demography of the Republic of Serbia.

He is married and has three children.
